LEAP’s Film and Post team created a series of “how-to cook” videos for online distribution to coincide with wagamama’s launch of new restaurant placemats showing a selection of simplified recipes.
The films embrace the brand’s feel-good theme of sharing fresh food with friends and are a perfect fit for social media where they are performing well. The popular donburi video reached 1.6 million people in 4 weeks.
Our production team convened for an exciting Saturday of cooking, filming and (of course) tasting super fresh wagamama meals at the Mansion House location. We developed a graphical style for the films that would reflect the restaurant’s brand whilst giving people the chance to create their own wagamama experience at home. Our tabletop shoot captured everything in stunning 4k with the Arri Amira to give us the ultimate flexibility in postproduction and grade. The resulting recipe films are delicious, informative and extremely popular.
