LEAP is well known for its fine art quality digital printing services. We have produced art prints for contemporary artists Natalie Christensen and Jim Eyre. We have been printing exhibition postcards for Tate galleries and the Royal College of Art graduate shows for many years. We have also printed and bound postcard books for exhibitions at the Royal Academy, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and Sir John Soane’s Museum. It is always a pleasure to work with galleries and artists to showcase their work. Recently, we produced a series of notecard books for London-based photographer Dunja Opalko.
When the pandemic hit, Dunja found that her love of encountering new places and people around the world would be curtailed by travel restrictions. To counteract the loss of international inspiration, she began an exploration of the world closer to home. Dunja produced a series of photographs capturing mindful observations of her North West London neighbourhood and gathered them in a collection called, ‘Lockdown Walks.’
LEAP worked closely with the artist to ensure optimum quality reproductions of her photographs, and our print experts selected a cover and binding method that would allow the easy separation of individual notecards without damage to individual cards or the rest of the collection.
The notecard books are available to purchase online with a percentage of the profits going to the mental health charity, Mind.
