When Clarins wanted to promote their philanthropic partnership with FEED on WeAre8, they turned to LEAP for post-production support. We needed to deliver the message of Clarins’ active involvement in supporting children’s access to education and better nutrition within a twenty second run-time. Our Film and Post team worked with the client’s master creative assets to create a Reel-like video. Our editor’s careful cutdowns communicated impactful messaging. And by animating product elements on the final frame, our motion graphics brought the Clarins x FEED beauty essentials to life.
In 2011, Clarins began their partnership with FEED to support the UN’s World Food Programme, helping children by financing school meals. Each year, Clarins launches a special campaign during which they provide a limited edition FEED bag with the purchase of their products. For every FEED bag offered through the gift with purchase programme, Clarins provides seven meals to children in need. This year’s campaign is featured on WeAre8.
WeAre8 is a new social media app with an underlying mission to support charities and climate solutions. The platform makes small payments to users each time they watch an ad, and users can choose to keep the money or donate it to charity. Advertisers on the platform must also donate a percentage of their ad spend to charity. The Clarins x FEED collaboration chimes with the WeAre8 ethos and speaks to its users who are passionate about doing good in the world.
