Celebrating our post-production partnership with UK Music Video Awards since 2008

Next week, London’s legendary Roundhouse and comedian, Adam Buxton play host to the UK Music Video Awards, the premier celebration of global music video and music filmmaking. The moving image arm of Loveurope and Partners (LEAP) has been the post-production partner to the UKMVAs since their inception in 2008.

Each year, the UKMVAs celebrate the best of British and international music videos across a wide range of genres and budgets as well as creative and technical disciplines. From more than 1800 videos submitted for judging, the top-voted entries were reviewed by 100 industry professionals in a series of live judging panels. Individual awards such as those for best director, commissioner and production company were based on a body of work from the past year and were voted on by jury members.

Working closely with Ballistic Events, our post production team creates the video packages for projection onto the big screens. With more than 30 categories and six nominees in each, that makes for a lot of fantastic content. Our film and post experts provide full-service production from creative development and filming, through to sound recording and final post-production delivery for the advertising, digital, film, music video and broadcast sectors, so working on the UKMVAs is a natural extension of our creative ethos.

Danny Coster, Creative Director says, We love working with Music Videos as it gives our team real freedom to explore finishing techniques and styles. Once again, we’re proud to sponsor the Best Director category and give recognition to some truly outstanding film making.

Danny adds, We are proud to have been the UKMVA’s post-production partner for a decade. As ever, we enjoy the creative collaboration with Louise Stevens, David Knight and the extended UKMVA team. We are looking forward to celebrating the fantastic talent of filmmakers working in music videos at this year’s awards.
