Having previously created fresh and vibrant social video content for wagamama aimed at the small-screen phone user, our next commission was an altogether bigger challenge, in fact it was a 21 metre x 2 metre, 168 screen challenge!
wagamama needed to drive footfall to their airport locations and highlight the more expansive menu options available in these restaurants. Starting with the huge digital screen above the Heathrow T5 restaurant, we developed a series of creative treatments to showcase the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and filmed them in 4k resolution on two Arri Amira cameras. We then adapted our content for the unique vertical split-screens at wagamama’s Gatwick restaurant’s as well as for the D6 portrait screens in the airport’s lounges. To further maximise impact, audience reach and budget value for wagamama, the video content was extended across the brand’s social media and web channels.
