Outdoor adventure brand Go Ape had been able to reach 49% brand recognition through word of mouth, but to achieve their target, they needed to change strategy and increase awareness on a national level. TV was the obvious choice. Successful in our pitch to develop and produce an original creative concept for broadcast, Go Ape selected LEAP’s Film and Post team to create and deliver their first nationwide TV campaign, ‘#TakeTheFirstStep’.
Exemplifying our co-creative ethos, the LEAP production team worked closely with Go Ape’s marketing team to make the most of a two-day shoot at the beautiful Leeds Castle Adventure location and bring our director’s treatment to life. We arranged a five-camera shoot including crew, kit, casting and even a drone to capture the thrill and emotion of zip wire flight through the trees and beyond.
