Financial Times company Longitude needed to present a report documenting their research for Aviva Investors about how UK and European insurers and pension funds are embracing alternative income assets in their portfolios. They commissioned Loveurope and Partners (LEAP) to answer the challenge of creating something visually engaging using simplified imagery. Our goal was to make the data and methodology more tangible for the reader and provide illustrations and graphic design to weave together concepts from the text itself.
Working from our centrally-managed design hub, we came up with the concept for the look of the booklet and the style of artwork which would harmonise with Aviva’s brand colours and style. We commissioned talent from our roster of artists to create illustrations and infographics that would tap into the report’s themes of investment in infrastructure debt and equity, real estate finance and private corporate debt. Our project managers organised the workflow as well as client liaison and approvals while our in-house designers and typesetters expertly combined the textual and artistic elements to form an attractive printed brochure and online document.
