As England progressed through the stages of the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, excited fans were singing the football anthem, ‘It’s Coming Home’. Creative agency Who Wot Why wanted to tap into the feeling and the importance of home for their client Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity. They enlisted LEAP’s Film and Post team to edit and animate their digital OOH and social media video campaign, ‘Coming Home is Everything’ to be ready in time for England’s ascent to the final.
LEAP’s producers organised the post-production team to complete the challenge within a day. Working with the client’s graphics, our motion graphics editor quickly animated the text and added film grain effects to fit the storyboard and provided a range of audio edits for the agency and client to choose their winning campaign.
LEAP’s expertise in creating, adapting, versioning and delivering advertising content for a wide range of media platforms helped ensure all the assets for the Shelter campaign would meet the quality and technical specifications required by the various media owners poised to activate the multi-channel campaign. LEAP’s dedicated producer ensured that workflows progressed efficiently and clients had all the information and files they needed to get the most out of the tight turnaround time.
No matter the result of the football, LEAP was able to deliver a powerful and effective campaign in time for the clients to reach a wide audience across social media and DOOH locations. Shelter’s Facebook campaign achieved more than 100 thousand views and encouraged viewers to sign up to join the fight to end the housing emergency.
