Brand Advertorials for Nescafé – Dolce Gusto featuring Gizzi Erskine

Havas EHS commissioned our Film and Post team to shoot and edit six films for Nescafé Dolce Gusto featuring their new brand ambassador, Chef and TV personality Gizzi Erskine.

Within a quick turnaround time, our production team organised a kitchen-based location shoot to set the scene for Gizzi and the stylish Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Gizzi is best known for her series on Channel 4 “Cook Yourself Thin” and her bestselling cookery book Skinny Weeks and Weekend Feasts.

The film shoot coincided with talented photographer Jon Gorrigan’s still’s campaign. Our producers were highly appreciative of Jon’s collaborative approach as he captured the stills while our DOP shot the video footage on the Sony F55.

LEAP’s editor and director designed a playful layout that would slide panels of beautifully shot footage across the screen. The colour grade tinted the images to echo the brand’s multicoloured coffee pods. One of our animators created a motion graphics sequence to highlight the range of flavours in a flickering polka-dot pattern of cheerful pod colours. The look and feel of the postproduction combined with the music to create a retro 60s vibe that chimed perfectly with Gizzi’s personal style and the elegant coffee machine.
